This explains what Enroute stores about you, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to meet India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. இந்த செயலி உங்களைப் பற்றி என்ன தகவல் சேமிக்கிறது என்பதை இது விளக்குகிறது.

Enroute is operated by Mikaios,

What we store

What we do NOT store
- Your GPS location is never recorded. If you use "my location", it is used in your browser to work out nearby buses and is not saved.
- We do not store your password.
- We do not store your phone number.
- There are no advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookie is the one that keeps you signed in.
Who else sees it
Nobody. Your details are not sold, shared or given to advertisers. They are visible only to the operator named above. Email is delivered through Google (Gmail), so Google handles messages we send you. உங்கள் தகவல் யாருக்கும் விற்கப்படாது.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete it, we remove your account and personal details within 30 days. It is not instant because daily backups are kept for 30 days, and your details remain inside those backup files until they rotate out. After that they are gone. Usage counts that cannot identify you may be kept. கணக்கை நீக்கக் கேட்டால் 30 நாட்களுக்குள் உங்கள் விவரங்கள் நீக்கப்படும்.
Your rights
- Ask what we hold about you
- Ask us to correct anything wrong
- Ask us to delete your account and details
- Withdraw your consent at any time, which means closing the account
- Complain to the Data Protection Board of India if you are unhappy with our answer

Keeping it safe
Passwords are stored scrambled and salted. The database file is readable only by the operator's account. Sign-in attempts are limited to slow down guessing. No system is perfect; if a breach affects you we will tell you and the Data Protection Board.
Children
Enroute is not aimed at children under 18. We do not knowingly create accounts for them.
Bus times are estimates
Positions shown are calculated from published timetables, not live GPS. A late, early or cancelled bus will not match the app. Please do not rely on it alone for anything that matters.
